Gibb Medical & Rescue was founded in 2005 by healthcare professionals, who recognised the need for non-healthcare professionals to be able to provide lifesaving assistance in advance of the emergency services.
While basic first aid has a role to play, many organisations find themselves in a scenario where help is not readily available and they need to be more self-sufficient during a medical emergency.

About Us
At Gibb Medical and Rescue Services, we specialise in providing tailored medical solutions designed to meet the challenges of clients who operate in remote or dangerous environments.
In addition to medical services, we offer training and consultancy to empower teams across a range of industries.
While our primary focus is the renewable energy sector, we also provide vital support to Local Authority Fire, Airport Fire Services, and other sectors, ensuring these critical teams are prepared for any medical emergency or rescue scenario.
What We Do
Gibb Medical & Rescue is the number one provider of these services to the UK’s Fire and Rescue Services and Airport Fire Services, and we organise the Annual Trauma Conference for Fire, Emergency and Rescue Service personnel.
Our EURIECAâ„¢ course is accredited by the Global Wind Organisation as compliant with its Enhanced First Aid (EFA) criteria. This training goes above and beyond the EFA requirements.
We also deliver regular public training courses at our head office, covering most aspects of advanced first aid.
Our Team
Gibb Medical & Rescue is led by medical experts and a faculty of healthcare professionals, and we have an excellent team of office-based staff who support our business.
Our course instructors have experience of facing real life emergencies over a number of years, with backgrounds in medical care, serving in the Armed Forces or previously being Firefighters or Police Officers.
Having such an experienced team allows us to deliver the highest quality training available on the market.
Maintenance of Skills (MOS)
To ensure that advanced first aiders are able to safely and effectively provide care when an emergency arises, it is essential that they receive ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
We achieve thus using a model of low-dose, high-frequency follow-on training.
Clinical Governance
This is the system through which your organisation delivers safe, effective, high-quality casualty care.Â
It forms a fundamental part of its risk management strategy, by developing processes and procedures to ensure that casualties receive the right care, at the right time, by the right person.Â
Through a continuous cycle of quality improvement, clinical governance provides high levels of assurance that the care delivered is safe and effective.
We are the Experts in Advanced First Aid & Rescue
In addition to E-Learning and onsite training courses, we also provide regular public training courses on most aspects of advanced first aid.
There is a published schedule of these courses, which are usually held at a Gibb Medical & Rescue office.
