About Us
Gibb Medical & Rescue leads the way in Advanced First Aid and Rescue.
In 2005, we were founded (as Trauma Resus) by a group of healthcare professionals, and deliver training within robust clinical governance structures to transform patient care, improve patient outcomes and save lives.
Gibb Group acquired Trauma Resus in 2024 and, following integration into the group, it is known as Gibb Medical & Rescue.
Transitioning into the Gibb Group is a significant step to create a unified future.
What We Do
Gibb Medical & Rescue is the number one provider of these services to the UK’s Fire and Rescue Services and Airport Fire Services, and we organise the Annual Trauma Conference for Fire, Emergency and Rescue Service personnel.
Our EURIECAâ„¢ course is accredited by the Global Wind Organisation as compliant with its Enhanced First Aid (EFA) criteria. This training goes above and beyond the EFA requirements.
We also deliver regular public training courses at our head office, covering most aspects of advanced first aid.

Our Team
Gibb Medical & Rescue is led by medical experts and a faculty of healthcare professionals, and we have an excellent team of office-based staff who support our business.
Our course instructors have experience of facing real life emergencies over a number of years, with backgrounds in medical care, serving in the Armed Forces or previously being Firefighters or Police Officers.

Maintenance of Skills
Our post-course E-Learning is designed to follow the completion of your initial training.
It forms the theory element of your maintenance of skills, so that the contact time you have with instructors can be of as much practical value as possible.
Clinical Governance
This is the system through which your organisation delivers safe, effective, high-quality casualty care.Â
It forms a fundamental part of its risk management strategy, by developing processes and procedures to ensure that casualties receive the right care, at the right time, by the right person.Â
Through a continuous cycle of quality improvement, clinical governance provides high levels of assurance that the care delivered is safe and effective.
We are the Experts in Advanced First Aid & Rescue
In addition to E-Learning and onsite training courses, we also provide regular public training courses on most aspects of advanced first aid.
There is a published schedule of these courses, which are usually held at a Trauma Resus office.
